Light case is a single LED light engine built to send photons of light through Fiber Optic Cable (FOC). This product is created to withstand the electrical surges from 12vdc/vac to 30vdc/vac. This unique feature allows it to be used in emergency vehicles that may incur this type of fluctuations.
Connection of a light case to Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) Cut off a quarter of an inch of fiber with clean razor cutters to ensure optimal light transition. Cover the end of the fiber with the shrink tubing (6 inches long) leaving 3/4’’ uncovered by the tubing.
Insert the fiber optic cable inside the light case grip approximately 1 inch. There should not be a bare cable between the cord grip and shrink tubing. Tighten cable grip snug but not too tight.
Plug in the provided power supply and attach to the light case.
With the dimmable capabilities of the light case you can control light intensity for your indoor and/or outdoor surface you wish to light.
Working with two light cases
Two light cases can be used for longer lengths, higher intensities, or for mixing of colors. Please check the information about color spectrum mixing.
Please keep the light cases and power supplies away from water.
